Kuwaiti actor, writer and director, born on 1 January 1953. His career began in the mid-1980s after graduating from the acting and directing department at the High Institute of Performing Arts, where he performed several plays. He is the father of actor and composer Bashar Sultan. From his early television roles the series Abdullah El Bari & Abdullah El Bahari (1994). His other works include Bou Habash (1996), and Al-Maqasis Market (2000). He died on 18 January 2009.
