Tarek Sharkawy	Rana Abiad is a Syrian actress, born in Damascus in 1975. She rose to fame after playing roles in several Arab countries including the Emirates, Kuwait, Jordan, Bahrain and Iraq. She was honored and received a best actress award from the Cairo International Film Festival for her role in “Gharameyat Najlaa” (Najlaa's Affairs). Her most successful roles were in the series “Sabaya 2” and “Wallada min Alkhasira” (Birth from the Flank).
