    A Kuwaiti director. He was born in the eastern region. He began his directing career in 1971 on Kuwait TV as a director in the variety control. He directed many clips for major singers in Kuwait and the Arab Gulf. In 1991, he moved to the field of television drama to complete his artistic career. He was married to a woman from outside the artistic community, and they had one son (Walid), who acted as a child in the series (Ahlam Niran) directed by him, but he later died of cancer, and they separated after that. He then married the Bahraini actress Sumaya Al-Khanna, who gave birth to a son named (Walid) after his late son. From his works: The Pure-Hearted Fadda, Different Kinds of People and Sara.
