An Egyptian actress, who started her career as an assistant director in the production sector in the Egyptian television, in 1996. She directed her first series in 2002 Lucky Guys, which was produced by Farah Media. In 2005, she directed her first short feature film News with an Announcement Break, which took part in the New York Film Festival in 2005 and won the silver prize in El Sawy Culturewheel Festival. She directed the film We Live the Moment which was produced by Topactes for art production in 2009, starring Randa El Beheiry, and Amr El Qadi. In 2011, she took part in the Leipzig German Festival with her film I am in the Square. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Arts from Cairo University's History Department in 1987, and her Theater Diploma, from Ain Shams University, in 1993. She also received a diploma from the Higher Institute of Artistic Criticism in 1997.
