Maryam Nouhy |
A Qatari actor, director and one of the founders of the Youth Theater (the Model Troupe), the Folk Theater Troupe, and the Qatar Theater Company. A graduate of the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts (Kuwait), he has participated in several courses and theater workshops in the State of Qatar, the Gulf states, the Arab countries and the United States. He was appointed head of the Qatar National Theater (2003-2007), worked as a theater expert at the National Council for Culture, Arts and Heritage. He also wrote the story of the play Aspire and supervised it. This play is one of the biggest in the Middle East. Among his other credits are Human Features (2008) and Al Hajjaj (2003). |
