The writer Dr. Nabil Farouk was born on February 9, 1956 in the city of Tanta, Egypt. His father’s encouragement to him to take an interest in reading had a great impact on his creativity. He joined the Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in 1980 and before graduating, he was able to obtain an award from the Tanta Culture Palace for his story The Prophecy.
