She was married twice, the first to Kuwaiti musician Raed Al Abakal and ended in divorce, and the second to Saudi actor Yaqoub Al-Farhan.

In 2007, she released her Gulf single "Assalifa Wa Ma Fiha", which earned her the title of best Gulf singer that year in a Dubai TV poll.

She was chosen by the United Nations to support an HIV awareness campaign.
