A Moroccan film and television director, born in Larache in 1971. He studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Casablanca, and obtained a master’s degree in film directing. He began his directing career in 2003 with his first film, Price of Departure, which won many awards at Moroccan and international film festivals. He has since directed many other works, such as Little Joys (2015), Merjana (2020) and Hard Times (2008).
