    Shaimaa Saied

    A Syrian actor, director, and playwright, born in Al-Zabadani. He studied at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts and graduated in 2001. He is considered one of the founders of the El-Hakawati troupe, which relies in its theatrical style on folk tales, including the play Diaries of a Sad King. He appeared for the first time in the series Al Zeir Salim (2000). He appeared in many TV series and plays such as Old Streets of the Levant (2019), Less Than Ordinary (2023), and Rituals of Signs and Transformations.
