A Syrian actor of Palestinian origin, born in 1946 in the western village of Ijzim in Haifa, Palestine. He was displaced with his family from his hometown when he was only two years old as a result of the massacres committed by Zionist gangs in 1948. He settled with his family in Jenin before he was displaced again to Syria, where he remained there until he passed away. Since 1971, he participated in various theatrical festivals, including the university theatre. He also participated in the works of the National Theater, in addition to most of the theatrical works in the Quneitra Theater troupe, which was founded by Zinati Qudsia. He was considered one of the founders of the Palestinian National Theater troupe and played important roles in this theater. Some of his credits include Alebba Procession (2005), The Lost (2004) and Palestinian Expatriation (2004). He died on 30 January 2006.
