    Toqa Hesham

    A Jordanian actor and writer, born in Jerusalem. He studied and graduated from Mohammed V University in Rabat, Morocco, Faculty of Law, from which he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Law in Political Science. His beginning was through theater, where he appeared in the play Harvest Nights (1967). He is considered one of the founders of the Jordanian Playwrights Association. He was a member and then head of the Theatrical Lanterns Troupe. He broke into the field of television drama in 1969 by appearing in the series Juha. His other credits include The Two Brothers, Khayber, and The Sun of the Valley. He died of lung cancer on 31 May 2015.
