Egyptian novelist born in 1936 who worked as an editor in many newspapers and magazines until he transferred to Al Gomhuria in the early 1960s as an editor then became head of the arts section and finally deputy editor-in-chief of the newspaper. He also wrote several novels. His works include the film Wolves on the Road (1972). He died on 1 October 2000. |
