Dalia Saad |
A Bahraini critic, actor, director, and playwright, born in 1948. He started working in the theater through a play entitled The Donkey and the Execution Guillotine, which he wrote. In 1970, he joined the El Ittihad El Shaabi Troupe in the city of Muharraq, where he participated in the troupe's debut play, Antigone. After that, he traveled to Qatar, where he co-founded El Sadd Theater, then moved to the United Arab Emirates in 1975 to co-found Sharjah Theater with a group of Emirates artists, and in 1984 he returned again to his native country of Bahrain, where he co-founded El Sawary Theater, the third private theatrical troupe in Bahrain. Among his work are the 2006 movie A Bahraini Tale, and the play Rashdan's Wedding Night.
