An Egyptian actor and monologist who did not appear as a man except once in the movie Souad the Gypsy (1928) and since then, he has been fascinated by female roles with funny looks, and the first time was in The Shop for Lovers (1933). After four years he spent in the casinos and theaters of Imad Al-Din, he was again cast as the role of the wife in Wife No. 2 with Mary Moneib. He's best known for the role of Gamalat Kofta in The Unmarried Mother (1950). His last role was in the movie Khadra and the Southern Sinbad (1951). He then decided to return to working in nightclubs.
