Raesa Afifi was an Egyptian singer and actress. She was one of the street singers of Mohamed Ali. She started her artistic activity at the end of the thirties and appeared as a singer in many films. She joined Mohamed Abdel Wahab in the movie Long Live Love (1938) with the song “You Have Planted Oranges”. She is best known for acting in the movies Intricacies of Life (1942) and Layla, Daughter of the Rich (1946). |
