A Lebanese actor, born in 1949 in the town of Aishiya in southern Lebanon. At the age of fifteen, he began his artistic career. He wrote his first theatrical work "Ahlam Motaathera" (Stumbling Dreams), influenced by the pre-Islamic poet Imru' al-Qais. He participated in several plays, such as Far Bells and The Mill.
While studying at the Faculty of Education, he learned there was an institute for fine arts at the Lebanese University, so he joined it and graduated in 1979 with a postgraduate diploma in theater. At the Institute of Arts, he studied under Raymond Jbara among others, and benefited from their experience.
His teachers began choosing him to star in their theatrical works, although it was forbidden to cast any freshman student from the acting department in professional work outside the institute. He worked with his teacher Raymond Jbara in the plays such as The Male Bee. In 1980, he worked with the Rahbani brothers, where he played the role of the Arab initiative guy in the play The Conspiracy Continues.
