Dalia Saad |
An Egyptian writer and poet, born on February 10, 1946, in Kafr El Sheikh. He is one of the distinguished poetic voices in the contemporary Arab poetry movement. He wrote 20 books, including 13 poetry collections and 3 lyrical plays that achieved great success in a number of theater festivals, including The Khedive. Some of his poems and plays have been translated into several languages, including English, French, and Chinese. He graduated from the Faculty of Arts, Department of Journalism, in 1968, and began his career as an editor in the economic department at Al-Ahram newspaper, then as an editorial secretary, then headed the cultural department there.
