He was born in 1909, to an Algerian family that emigrated from Algeria due to the French occupation and chose Damascus to settle in it. In 1927, he formed a troupe called the Acting Scouts Troupe with his comrades, and they presented several plays, including Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. As new groups were formed, they joined them, such as the Military Theater Troupe and the National and Popular Theater. He continued to work in acting until the end of his life, and he also participated in the production of a number of works. He died in 1984.
