An Egyptian actor, he appeared at the beginning of the formation of the television theaters established by Dr. Abdul Qader Hatem and he became famous as a comedian in the sixties. He worked in the plays of Abdelmonem Madbouly, Fouad El Mohandes and Shwikar. From the theater he turned to the cinema where he played comedy supporting roles. Among his works: Me, Him and Her, Three Thieves and Hello Shalabi. He immigrated to the United States of America in 1973 and set up a cinematography studio there.
