He was a swimmer and water polo player at Al Ahly SC, and stopped when he entered the university. He left the field of acting early by a decision from his father, at the age of 13, to take an interest in studying, as he was more interested in theater, and this required an effort that affected his studies. He presented roles in his childhood that are still attached to the minds of the audience, such as his role in the plays It's a Truly Respectable Family, and A Witness Who Hasn't Seen Anything, in addition to the movie On the Minister’s Door, and the series The Age of Love.
