Fahmy Abdel Hameed was an Egyptian director. He was born in 1939 in Cairo, and studied fine arts there in 1963. He then worked as a television director in 1964, first as an animation director, then as a live-action director, directing numerous entertainment shows. He is most known for creating the comic character "Fattuta". Fahmy Abdel Hameed died in 1990, while working on a television adaptation of "A Thousand and One Nights". |
