A Syrian singer, born in Hama. He began his career at an early age and started singing at concerts in his neighborhood, and he was known at the time as Fouad Al-Sagheer. In the 1980s, he broke into the radio, recorded his first song under his real name, and was approved as a singer on radio and television, which brought him fame, after which he collaborated with a large number of musicians and composers. Among his most famous songs is the song "Lazarlak Bustan Wurud" (I Will Plant You a Rose Garden), which achieved great success at the time. He died on August 1, 2011, of lung cancer.
