Add/Update Information: Issa Al Hamer - Writer

A Bahraini writer, born in the village of Budaiya, Bahrain. His literary and artistic output started early through the activities of the Budaiya Sports and Cultural Club. He wrote short stories and published a number of them in Bahraini newspapers and magazines, then began writing for theater by participating in competitions organized by the Culture Department of the Bahraini Ministry of Information. His play, The Drums, won the award in the competition organized by Akhbar Al Khaleej newspaper and the Bahrain Film Company, while his play, The Treasure, won the third prize in the competition organized by the Ministry of Information. Among his work are the series Paths, and Hilal's Mother Stories.
