An Iraqi actress, born in Baghdad. She studied acting at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Baghdad, and began her career in 1980. She appeared in many theatrical, television, and cinematic works, including Homeland (2022), Rabab (2013) and The House of the Girls (2008).
