An Iraqi playwright and director born in Baghdad. He joined the Academy of Fine Arts and prestigious artistic troupes as a student of the great Iraqi art masters at the time, such as the late Khalil Shawqi, professor Sami Abdel Hamid, and Dr. Awni Karumi. He was forced to immigrate outside Iraq to complete his artistic career. He was sent to Canada, but he continued his artistic activity in the Arab countries, so he presented his works in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Syria. He won the Best Author Award, when he directed the play The Wolf in 1986 and the play City Limbs (1988).
