A Palestinian artist, born in the city of Shefa-Amr in northern Palestine on August 6, 1968. She studied singing at the Rubin Academy of Music in Jerusalem for 5 years and graduated in 1996. Reem sang with the band Washm in their production "Ashiqa." She taught singing at the...Read more National Conservatory of Music in Jerusalem and Ramallah for two years. Reem sang in Cairo in 1992 in a Palestinian soirée organized by the General Union of Palestinian Artists, and she was invited in the same year to participate in the Carthage Festival in Tunisia in the Voices of Freedom program on the 25th anniversary of the occupation of Jerusalem. She also sang in the Medina Festival in Tunisia in 2000, where she performed 3 concerts in Tunis and Sfax. Reem returned to Tunisia to participate in the Carthage Theater Festival in 2006 with two theatrical productions: Mahmoud Darwish’s Mural for the Palestinian National Theater and Blood Wedding for the Kasbah Theater.
