Shaimaa Saied |
A Palestinian linguist, novelist, and poet, born in Safed, Palestine. He resided in Syria in 1948. He obtained a degree in English literature and secondary teaching qualifications from Damascus University. He studied at the University of London and obtained a master's degree in education and a doctorate in linguistics. He spent more than sixty years in education as a teacher, lecturer, and university professor. He conducted linguistic research for the series Open Sesame and supervised the Arabic language for it. He also composed more than thirty poems for the same series.
