An Egyptian singer and actress, born in Mallawi, Minya Governorate. Her father worked as an artistic director for Fawzy Mounib's band, and her sister was a singer. Among her works: Hateful Love (1953), Dearer Than My Eyes (1955) and The Mayor's Daughter (1949). She is the mother of the artist Esaad Younes, the retired singer Iman Younes, and her third daughter, Ahlam Younes. |
