An Egyptian writer who worked as the head of the literary department in the weekly Al-Omal newspaper. He obtained a diploma in media in 1985. He had many literary works, including: "Valley of Fear" (colloquial diwan) in 1971 and "In Court" (colloquial diwan). He received a number of honors and awards: Eid Award The first for art and culture in 1979 (Ministry of Culture), The Golden Microphone Award in 2001 (Radio and Television Festival). He also received honorary certificates from most of Egypt's universities. Among his most notable works: The Land's Secret (1994) and Dialogues of Morning and Night (2001).
