A Kuwaiti journalist and writer, born in 1937 in Fareej Al-Qanaat. She started writing when she was a school student. In 1960, she obtained a bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Arts - Department of Journalism - Cairo University. In 1961, she traveled with her husband to America, where she enrolled in two courses to study languages. She started working in New York on her first radio broadcast under the title Diary of a Kuwaiti Woman in New York. She presented many seminars and lectures related to women and intellectual and literary issues. With the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, she participated in organizing the first Kuwaiti women’s demonstration. During the occupation, she, as part of a delegation, visited the United Nations and met with President Bush in order to explain Kuwait’s just cause. Her credits include the program TV Network.
