Dalia Saad |
A Sudanese singer, born in 1922, in a village east of Khartoum. He worked as President of the Artists Syndicate. He sought to study music and play the oud, and his acquaintance with the famous Egyptian singer Mohammed Abdel Wahab had an impact on his career. He was credited with educating artists and musicians by opening classes to teach music. He contributed to the field of education by supporting schools not only in his village but throughout Sudan. He was a member of many charitable organizations. He died on October 30, 1999.
