Egyptian director, who obtained a BA in Mass Communication from the Radio and Television Department at Cairo University in 1982. He became a member of the Syndicate of Film Professions. He took a training course in Beijing, China, on media technology. Reda worked as assistant president of Channel Two of Egyptian television.
He also worked as a director of artistic programs and talk shows on Egyptian TV. He worked as an assistant director on the Ramadan riddle shows of Nelly, Sherihan, and Fatouta, with director Fahmy Abdel Hamid. He also worked as an assistant director with director Salah Abu Seif in two films. He also worked as an assistant director with such directors as Nour El Demerdash and Gamal Abdel Hamid.
He worked as a lecturer on Kuwait TV and a lecturer at the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University. He also worked as a senior producer for the OTV and ONTV News Channels and as a media consultant for the ONTV News Channel. His most important works as a senior producer on ONTV News Channel include the program Our Country in Slang, presented by Reem Maged. He won the Best Film Award at the First Video Film Festival in Alexandria for the film The Fiery Prophet, among other honors.
