Add/Update Information: Abdeen Basiso - Writer

A Palestinian writer, journalist, and media personality, born in Gaza in 1929. He was the brother of poet Muin Bseiso. He graduated from the American University in Cairo in 1954, then he returned to Gaza to teach English in UNRWA schools, and moved to Libya, where he worked in the same field, and in 1955, he traveled to Kuwait, where he worked as a teacher of English at the Mubarakiya School. He co-founded the Union of Palestinian Writers and Journalists, Kuwait Branch, and headed it from 1969 until his death in 1982. In 1959, he worked on Kuwaiti radio and television as a writer of screenplays and dialogue, in addition to his work in the Ministry of Education.
