Dalia Saad |
An Egyptian director, screenwriter, producer and novelist, born in Cairo on February 15, 1947. He studied at the English School in Suez, graduated from the High Cinema Institute in 1967, and from the Faculty of Commerce, Cairo University in 1986. He also received a postgraduate diploma in journalism from Cairo University in 1970, and a postgraduate diploma from the University of Southern California. He taught cinematic arts in film institutes and media colleges in Egypt, and founded the Arab Visual Company in 1967. He directed a number of documentary films, including: Visual Encyclopedia of the Pharaonic Civilization, in addition to two feature films: The Execution of a High School Student (1980), and Spirit of Survival (1990).
