An Iraqi director, born in 1940. He traveled to Germany to complete his studies in film directing. He was a director on Baghdad Television, then he returned from Germany holding a doctorate and directed the first Iraqi series in color, which was Depths of Desire in 1976. Among his credits are Six Chairs (1971), Delinquency of Passion (1978) and Abu El Balawi (1980) He also directed many short films, including one entitled Palestine Yes. |
