Elizabeth Taylor was an American actor born in London (1932). From her early years as a child star with MGM, she became one of the great screen actors of Hollywood's Golden Age. As one of the world's most famous film stars, Taylor was recognized for her acting ability and for her glamorous lifestyle, beauty and distinctive violet eyes. Liz Taylor was away of the silver screen for about twenty years as her last feature film was Young Toscanini (1988), later on she participated in some TV series and her last one was the animation comedy God, the Devil and Bob (2001) in which she played the voice of Sarah. Taylor won the Oscar for Best Leading Actress two times, the first for her role in Butterfield 8 (1960) and the second for her role in Mike Nichols' Who’s afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966). |
