A director, writer, and actor, born in New York City, USA in 1958. Keenen attended Seward Park High School, then majored in engineering at Tuskegee University in Alabama, but he dropped out during his freshman year when he decided to turn to writing and acting. He was able to contact comedian Eddie Murphy and work as a writer on his documentary Eddie Murphy: Raw (1987). His first movie was Hollywood Shuffle (1987). He achieved wide fame for writing and starring in the comedy series In Living Color (1990-1994). Among his most famous movies are I'm Gonna Git You Sucka (1988), Scary Movie (2000), White Chicks (2004), Little Man (2006), and Dance Flick (2009).
