A Saudi director, who started his career in 1957 at Aramco TV in Dhahran, and then joined the Saudi TV after its establishment in 1965. He is considered the first Saudi director. After that, he was sent to the United States of America and studied there the elements of theater, television, and cinema. He also studied at the BBC in London and worked there as a director. He directed Shakespeare’s A Summer’s Night Dream, then returned to Saudi Arabia and participated in the training of national cadres of directors and cinematographers. Among his most prominent works are Live with You and My Daughter.
