Producer, director, screenwriter, actor, songwriter and composer born on February 14, 1923, in Constantinople during the rule of the Ottoman Empire (present-day Istanbul, Turkey). Among the most important works he produced, directed and wrote are the films Nilüfer, the Jungle Flower in 1960, Gülizar in 1972, First Love in 1960 and Benzincinin aski in 1959. He died on July 20, 2005, in Istanbul. |
