An Egyptian dance instructor and actor, born in El Mina in 1938, but he lived in Cairo because of his father’s work. He choreographed dance routines for many films, including: The Glass Sill (1969), Congrats, It's a Boy (1980) and The Funny, the Gentleman and the Greedy (1971).
He lived for long periods outside of Egypt for his participation in the judging committees of competitions and organizing dance training courses. He received his Ph.D. where he studied at ICODAC, Center for Oriental Dance Art & Culture. He's best known for appearing with Soad Hosny in a dancing scene in Too Young to Love ( 1966).
