She was born on August 30, 1940 in the city of Beja. She received her academic education at the Graphic Department of the State Academy of Fine Arts. She also joined academic theater groups as an amateur. There she began acting as an amateur. Then, she joined professional theatrical acting. Her first acting debut was in 1965 through the movie Kahreden darbe. Among her most famous works are: Köye dönen yosma, Büyük bela in 1973 and Geldi Sevdi ve Vurdu in 1971.
