Kendrick began her acting career at an early age when she assumed a role in the Broadway musical “High Society” at the age of twelve. Kendrick’s debut performance garnered her much praise, as well as multiple nominations: the prestigious Tony Award (making her the second youngest nominee ever), as well as a Drama Desk award and a Fany Award. Kendrick then appeared in a number of other stage productions before making her film debut in “Camp” (2003) whose subject matter (a musical theater camp) allowed her show off musical theater chops. She was nominated for an Oscar, a BAFTA, a Golden Globe and a SAG award for best supporting actress. She's also well known for playing Jessica in the "Twilight" series.
