Stephenie Meyer is an American author who has gained worldwide recognition for her “Twilight” series which have sold over 100 million copies globally. Stephenie Meyer was born in Hartford, Connecticut on the 24th of December, 1973. She later moved to Phoenix, Arizona where she grew up with her five siblings. Stephenie later attended Brigham Young University in Utah where she received her B.A. in English. She met her husband, Christian, in Arizona and the pair married in 1994 when they were both 21. Stephenie has three sons: Gabe, Seth and Eli. Before writing Twilight, Meyer had had no experience in writing and had even considered going to law school. However, her “Twilight” series have met with great success and have even spawned a series of film adaptations. Meyer appeared on Time Magazine’s list of “100 Most Influential People in 200”, ranking 49th. She has also appeared on the Forbes Celebrity 100 list.
