Bartholomew Freundlich is an American director, producer and screenwriter who was born on the 17th of January, 1970 in New York. Freundlich grew up in Manhattan and graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts where he had double majored in Cinema Studies and Television Production. Freundlich first feature length film, “Hired Hands” (1994) received praise and awards at the Sundance Film Festival. Since then he has gone on to work on several productions including “World Traveller”, “Catch that Kid” and “Trust the Man” to name a few. Bart Freundlich has been married to actress Julianne Moore since 2003.
