An Argentine film director, writer, and producer, born on June 2, 1961, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Alejandro Agresti is also known in the USA for directing Valentín, which earned him the Silver Condor for Best Director and Best Original Screenplay at the Argentinean Film Critics Association Awards, as well as the Audience Award at the Newport International Film Festival. Agresti's film The Lake House is among his most important work as it earned him worldwide fame.
