An Egyptian TV director with a BA in Applied Arts (1978). He previously held the position of secretary of the Cinema Syndicate. He worked as a director in Egyptian Television and the Nile Television Network. He then worked as head of the special production department of NTN. He directed several TV specials, variety shows, documentaries, short films, and series, including "The Giant", "Playing Over the Hills of Nubia", and "The Story of a Club". He won several awards, including a gold award for the films Room 12, as well as Whispers of Palms. He died on 27 April 2013.
