An American director and screenwriter, born on December 16, 1963 in New York City. He studied at the California Institute of the Arts and received a master's degree from the Columbia University Film Institute in New York. Mangold began his career by writing and directing Heavy (1995). His works include Walk the Line, Ford v Ferrari, and Logan.
