An Egyptian singer, born in Tanta. She emigrated to Kuwait in 1961 and began her career as a chorus singer. She was discovered by violinist Naguib Nasrallah and became a famous singer in Kuwait. She has over 54 songs recorded at the Kuwaiti Radio. She toured Kuwait and several Arab Gulf countries. A few weeks before the invasion of Kuwait, she came to Egypt for a visit and decided to stay, and worked a bit in Samir Sabri's band. However, she quit shortly after. She died in 1997.
