A French writer, director, playwright, and actor born in Gap, Hautes-Alpes, France. Some of his credits include 8 Women (2002) and Mon curé chez les Thaïlandaises (1983). He won a Prix du Quai des Orfevres for Best Play in 1961. He died of a heart attack on 3 January 1989.
