An Egyptian writer whose passion for the theater emerged at the beginning of his youth. He abandoned his studying of law, and joined the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts and obtained a diploma in 1956. In 1963, he moved to Hungary and remained until 1964, after which he returned to his homeland; at the time, his theatrical and poetry productions flourished. He was one of the most famous theater artists during the 1960s. He has many poetry works, including the collection of poetry that he wrote between 1952 and 1959. He died on October 24, 1978 in Damanhour, Egypt.
